JOHN DEATON ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR U.S. SENATE IN MASSACHUSETTS
Worcester, MA — Marine veteran, attorney, and small business owner John Deaton announced today that he is running for the United States Senate in Massachusetts.
Deaton’s campaign will focus on restoring accountability in Washington, addressing the affordability crisis, and standing up for working families across the Commonwealth.
“I’ve lived the challenges many Massachusetts families face,” Deaton said. “I grew up with nothing, worked my way through the Marines, earned my degree, and built a business from the ground up. I know what it means to fight through obstacles and get results. That is what’s missing in Washington, and that is why I’m running.”

Deaton contrasted his record of service and results with Senator Ed Markey’s long tenure in Washington. “Ed Markey has been in office for nearly fifty years, and Massachusetts families are still struggling with rising costs, failing infrastructure, and a government that feels out of touch,” Deaton said. “We can do better.”
The campaign launched today with a message centered on grit, determination, and the belief that Massachusetts deserves leaders who reflect the people they represent, not career politicians.
